The academy was created to teach forward, not only what I have come to know, but also what other master teachers have learned. It is a way of honoring those who have come before us, by keeping their knowledge and teachings alive. So that those who come after us are empowered. Power is gained by sharing and knowledge should be shared.
I also believe that we are life long students and the earth and all of her creatures are our school.
The academy is a community of teachers and students who share a passion. Remember, the only difference between a master and a student is that the master has failed more times than the student has ever tried. Keep on keeping on. That is how you become a master.
As the Inca Shaman attains greater levels of knowledge and expertise, various initiation rites are performed to mark these levels.
The first level is that of the Ayni Karpay, which is similar to that of an apprentice shaman. In this phase, the shaman-to-be comes into a proper relationship with the natural world. Up until this point, his experiences have been created, or informed by past or present life traumatic events. He reacts automatically to each new circumstance because the imprints of these past events have remained in his Luminous Energy Field and his chakras, waiting to be triggered. Thus, he has no choice. The rite of the ayni karpay installs archetypes into each chakra which start to inform the life experiences from a more neutral, objective position, so that the shaman can act from this new position, not react because of past programming. Thus begins the path of service to the Earth Mother, her kingdoms, and all of creation.
The second level of attainment is the Pampamesayok, which represents stewardship or guardianship of the Earth. This shaman is a mesa carrier. The mesa is the medicine bag of the shaman, filled with the collection of sacred objects used in the practice of shamanic healing. This level corresponds to that of “pipe carrier” in the Native American teachings.
The third level is that of the Altomesayok, keeper of the medicine teachings, and one who is responsible to the sacred mountains, or apus.
Kurak Akuyek, or “elder” follows as the fourth level, in addition to several more levels which may take years of wisdom and power to attain.
Knowledge, like air, is vital to life. Like air, no one should be denied it .
“Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.” ― Ronald E. Osborn

I’ve been where you are and can help you reclaim your own unique vision and voice.
A mentor is usually someone who has achieved what you are setting out to and guides you from their own experiences. As a life coach and shaman, I have received numerous requests asking me to guide and mentor others. A mentor can help guide you through your journey to becoming the best version of yourself in this lifetime. I have come to realise that there are little to no avenues available for souls to receive support on their journey with regards to spiritual practices. And so, due to to the great demand and the call I have received, I am pleased to announce that I will be offering mentoring in my field of expertise, namely:· Spirituality;· Shamanism;· Life Coaching;· Having your own holistic practise. and· Studying towards Holistic counselling.
Here are reasons why you need someone like a mentor:
1. Mentors provide information and knowledge. As Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." When I was starting out, I had no idea what was involved in spiritual healing, shamanic practices, coaching or running a business. I realised that with a mentor there from the start, I could tap into a wealth of knowledge faster. However, I did not have that available. That is why, offering it, has become a large part of my vision.
2. Mentors can see where we need to improve where we often cannot. George Lucas noted, "Mentors have a way of seeing more of our faults that we would like. It's the only way we grow." They will always be brutally honest with you and tell you exactly how it is rather than downplay any weaknesses they see in you. This constructive criticism mentors offered helps to see things in yourself that you otherwise could not recognize. If you can appreciate that insight, you’ll know exactly where you are lacking so as to improve those areas.
3. Mentors find ways to stimulate our personal and professional growth. Another famous movie director explained, "The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image but giving them the opportunity to create themselves." Mentors also set various goals to see if you can accomplish them on your own, all the while watching from a distance to see how these projects help you to develop. Mentors make it a point to sit down and tell you what they have observed through the project process, what was worth keeping - and definitely what could immediately be thrown out. Mentors also focus on character and values, which nurture personal growth as well as leadership abilities.
4. Mentors offer encouragement and help keep us going. Inspirational entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey stated, "A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself." They are there no matter what and offer moral support sprinkled heavily with cheerleading. There will be times that, if there wasn't a mentor there you could easily, "cave-in," emotionally, or given up on the business.
5. Mentors are disciplinarians that create necessary boundaries that we cannot set for ourselves. You will experience a lot of tough love from your mentor. I do this because I understood that being an entrepreneur can be challenging when it comes to self-motivation and self-discipline.
6. Mentors are sounding boards so you can bounce ideas off them for an unfiltered opinion.
7. Mentors are trusted advisers. In the world, it can be hard to know who to trust - and that you can trust someone, especially with proprietary information or intellectual property.
8. Mentors can be connectors. Playing a dual role of teacher and connector, a mentor can provide access to those within your industry and can fuel your business and help you get closer to your target audience. 9. Mentors have the experiences you can learn from to prevent making the same mistakes beginners make. So, if you can skip doing things the hard way, why wouldn't you? A mentor has been there, right where you are, and has made numerous mistakes that they can now use as a basis for helping others to skip the devastating effects of not knowing.
Role of the Mentee. As a mentee, you will play many different roles during the course of your mentoring relationship. The following are some important roles for you to keep in mind:
Driver of Relationship. Identify the skills, knowledge, and/or goals that you want to achieve and communicate them to your mentor. Bring up new topics that are important to you at any point and give feedback to your mentor.
Development Planner. Develop and maintain the mentoring action plan and work with your mentor to set up goals, developmental activities, and time frames.
Resource Partner. Work with your mentor to seek resources for learning; identify people and information that might be helpful.
Continuous Learner. Take full advantage of this opportunity to learn. As a Mentor, I will act as sounding board for ideas/concerns about school/career choices; provide insights into possible opportunities. Provide support on personal issues, if appropriate Resource Person Identify resources to help mentee enhance personal development and career growth. Expand the mentee's network of contacts Champion Serve as advocate for mentee whenever opportunity presents itself Seek opportunities for increased visibility for mentee Devil's Advocate. When appropriate, play devil's advocate to help mentee think through important decisions and strategies.
I have such a passion for the ways of the ancients and my love for our divine Pachamama (mother earth), her animals and minerals has led me to want to share this forward to other beautiful souls who may feel drawn. Through my own studies on shamanism and the guidance through various visions and downloads to offer a course based on shamanism. This course was birthed and I am excited to share it!
This course is specifically designed to give you a better understanding of shamanism, the Andean medicine wheel and the sacredness of the lineages we work with, the power they hold and responsibility we have as guardians of this world.
In this course as your shaman and guide, I will happily with compassion walk you through this journey.
THIS IS A TWO PART COURSE
Level 1: The Andean Medicine Wheel - Which includes the four winds, or directions (Serpent - Jaguar - Humming bird & Condor). We discover the gifts the directions bring as we work our way through them. How to harness these archetypes to work with the physical, emotional and energy body using the Medicine Wheel. The Power of sitting in circle., the symbolism, power of the circle, connectivity of everything and Shekinah. Various shamanic techniques used to "journey" e.g drumming, visualisation, singing, use of rattle. - This course runs over 5 consecutive days. And is offered annually. Limited space per course.
Johannesburg, South Africa - 16th June to 20th June 2021
Level 2: The Andean Medicine Wheel - Once you are initiated in the Medicine Wheel & directions (Serpent,Jaguar, Humming Bird & Condor)(level 1) I will teach you the ancient art of soul retrieval from the lower world. Soul retrieval relates to a shamanic technique used to journey, to retrieve soul fragmentation. Soul fragmentation is often caused due to traumatic events. In order to do this, I need to be assured of your capabilities (as taught in level 1) and foremost, your integrity. Hence Level 2 is only offered to those I feel are in alignment with their own soul. As we "journey" through the medicine wheel, you will journey to various realms, the lower world - Huascar, the middle world- Questzalcoatl & the Upper World Pachakuti. - This course runs over 3 consecutive days. bi-annually.
Johannesburg, South Africa - 24th Sept to 26th Sept 2021
You will receive different shamanic initiations throughout the course as well as shamanic tools / techniques to assist you.
"New Tribes, ancient knowledge"- Shaman Shannan
To have a hands on shamanic experience learning how to connect, connect with me first.
We all know a soulful person when we see one. They are comfortable in their own skin, feeling emotions fluidly as they arise and their thoughts are aligned with their higher purpose.
Soul is the part of us that goes on without our body, even though it is held by our body now. Soul is the energy to follow our passions, that connects to a higher purpose. Soul is a mind that is clear of complaint, doubt and worry. It is able to make clear choices moment to moment without thinking about it.
Soul can also leave the body during times of stress and trauma. This is what we call soul loss.
Healing the soul
A soul retrieval is a powerful spiritual practice that heals soul loss. Soul loss can occur whenever we have trauma in our life. For example, we may experience soul loss if we are in an accident, undergo a serious operation or if we suddenly lose a close friend or family member.
From a shamanic perspective, soul loss is a common cause of illness. Traditionally, a shamanic practitioner would conduct a soul retrieval within three days of someone experiencing trauma. Today, modern shamanic practitioners seek lost soul parts that are willing to return from any point in life.
Soul loss is a helpful response in that it allows our essence to remove itself from suffering and pain. A soul retrieval is a shamanic method for bringing back those vital parts.
Soul loss is the experience of an essential part of us leaving, and soul retrieval is the experience of having that essential part retrieved and returned to you. Many of us feel like we are missing an important part of ourselves or feel like we are not quite whole. Sometimes we experience soul loss as a chronic illness or face ongoing emotions such as sadness and anger.
Soul loss can occur at any age, and a soul retrieval can be done whenever a person is ready for transformation. Sometimes we remember specific events in life that changed us – for the worse – physically, emotionally and mentally. Then, we realize we’re ready to heal, be inspired and move on!
The results of a soul retrieval are unique for everyone. Some people will experience joy, curiosity, or expansiveness and others will feel quiet, still and sleepy after a soul retrieval.
As a shaman I look for the lost soul in the spirit worlds, using my rattle, usually we move to the lower world when retrieving soul fragments, with the help of my guides, power animals and spirit teachers. I then reintegrate using crystals.
This training will teach you how to do shamanic soul retrievals.
Training dates to be announced. See events page.

Join us on this 3 day weekend, a 3 step Program that can certify you to share the Womb Chakra Healing Forward.
All of us in this physical form, male and female originated in the womb, and this course initiates both male and female in this healing art. The womb holds immense spiritual energy, and when we can learn how to transmute the energy that could be stuck in the Womb Chakra, that healing power flows with more ease and intensity.
Our lineage is connected womb to womb by a thread of life passing from lifetime to lifetime, some limiting life patterns could be carried through this thread unconsciously, our every experience with our mother's womb and our own or that of the women and men around us, is stored in the womb chakra.
Our lifetime of emotional wounds, miscarriages; abortions; still birthing; grief and loss; sexual trauma's or fears, sexual orientation fears, our secrets, the shame, the hidden lives; poor body image; self-rejection, addictions, etc.... all this can block our ability to "give birth" and "create" the things we want to have in life.
Anyone can receive this initiation, it is a simple and effective course that covers a well written journey using psychology & metaphysics combined with ancient wisdom from another time and another place.
This course is made up of 3 full days in-person training at a sensational retreat venue an hour from Johannesburg, it is filled with creative tools, powerful processes and receiving a spiritual initiation.
The content connects you with your own womb story, cleansing of the static, strengthening of the core and opening of the Womb Energy, the flow from Gaia. Once you have experienced this aligning, you will learn how to offer the healing sessions from your inner directed essence at the center of your womb chakra.
When this course calls you from within, meditate on the opportunity.
It is our intention to receive you from your inner guided space.
We have 1 class in 2021, 3 days, with a limited intake per class. There is an assignment post training that can ensure you have practical experience and be able to share this healing with those around you freely and confidently.

The 9 Rites of the Munay-Ki
The 9 Rites of the Munay-Ki are based on the traditional initiation practices of the Q'ero shamans of Peru, who are the descendants of the Inca. Munay-ki. The Munay-Ki are a series of nine Empowerment rites based on the initiatory practices of the Q'ero shamans of Peru, as taught by anthropologist Alberto Villoldo. "Munay" in Quechua means "love and will", together with "ki", from the Chinese word for energy, combine to give the meaning: energy of love.
The Rites are common to all shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed in different forms and styles in various cultures.
Traditionally, it would have taken many years of study before receiving these Rites. The Elders, however, believe that we are at now at a critical juncture in human history and that these Rites need to be transmitted to as many people as possible, without the need for lengthy transitions in between the Rites.
The 9 Rites of the Munay-Ki are energetic transmissions or connections that aim to assist you to shift into a new way of being. They can be viewed as seeds that change the vibration of your energy field and assist you in coming into alignment with your soul’s purpose. The Rites can take months or even years to ‘germinate’ and integrate, and work with and assist you in your spiritual development.
As you work with the germination of these rites you’ll be touched and blessed by angels. You simply need to open yourself to the wisdom of the Earthkeepers, and all will be bestowed upon you.
THE 13TH RITE OF THE WOMB- TOTAL REBIRTH
HEALING NEGATIVE IMPRINTS AND BIRTHING INTO LOVE. HEALING THE FEMALE LINAGE.
We gain many subtle and not so subtle energetic imprints during our 9 months in the womb.
These imprints hinder our wealth and well-being, and our spiritual journey.
This class will focus on searching for and destroying negative energies from the pelvic region, and then throughout the energy system of the body. For those who have been unloved in the while in the womb, the energetic and emotional impact can be challenging. The underlying message one receives is that of not being wanted. This class will address these embedded imprints on the psyche, to help the inner child to know that he or he is loved and worthy of love. Part of the class is also receiving the Rite of The Munay Ki healing system.
There is a lineage of women who freed themselves from suffering. This lineage of women wants us to remember:
The womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life.
The feminine spirit of the jungle reminds us of this simple and vital truth:
The womb is not a place to store fear and pain; the womb is to create and give birth to life.
This lineage of women through the jungle medicine has given us the 13th rite of the Munay-Ki: The Rite of the Womb.
Once you receive this Rite, you share it with as many women as possible
This workshop will also focus on fears around those that are reluctant to incarnate and to help strengthens one’s sense of purpose.
